One of the Great Devotional places near Ahmedabad. This is Asia's largest Lord Ganesh idol shaped Temple. I visited this place with my family and this is a very peaceful place. There are a food court and children's play areas are there.
Ganpati Bappa Morya! You must’ve visited numerous Lord Ganesha Temples in India and abroad. But did you know that Shree Siddhivinayak Devsthan is one of the biggest temples in structure?Located 30 km from Ahmedabad, 15 km from Nadiad, 50 km from Baroda, and 54 km from Gandhinagar, Shree Siddhivinayak Devsthan is located in Mahemdavad and is easily accessible by road and train. The total height of this temple is 71 feet, its length is 120 feet and its width is 84 feet. The outer structure of the mandir is shaped like the face of Ganpati using ferro casting and Australian technology.Along with a Ganpati Temple, there is also a Shivling made with 1 lakh 21 thousand rudrakshas and a mandir of Katyayni Shree Arbuda Ma.The temple has modern amenities like stay option for devotees, a parking lot, battery-operated rickshaws and a lift for the physically challenged and elderly, along with a huge garden where you can enjoy a peaceful afternoon with your family and friends.

This place is a very beautiful and peaceful place. Here you can come to visit with your family and friends and takes the blessings of lord Ganesha. You can also have breakfast or lunch in the food court here. The food is a bit expensive but taste is good.
Temple is a beauty and well thought to replicate Mumbai's siddhivinayak, but there are few things which is mot planned properly like we had to take off shoes outside the entrance where no one is there to look after it & then washrooms and Toilets are inside the entrance which I believe is clumsy as we had to use it without any footwear.Going inside the temple with dirty feet from washroom was a big NO for me as we need to be pure before entering temple. They definitely need to re-plan this entire footwear thing as people enter the temple with bad feet. Also there lot of small counters and shops in bits and pieces at different places which makes it look like disorganized market. They should place all the shops and counters and play area and food court in one dedicated area.I really liked that they had an elevator for old people who cant climb the steps and it makes it easy acess for old people.Overall we find it peace while sitting there and worshiping lord siddhibinayak but overall I gave it 4-stars because temple management is looking very disorganized. They definitely need to work on 2 things - shoes removal after the washrooms and toilets are done, and not just at entrance of the temple premises. Since purity is key before we worship.-organizing shops and play area and food court at one place.Overall it is a must visit for everyone to worship the Lord.
